Hi gave the test today in Pakistan.

The first section f listening had the following as per what i remember:

1. 140cm width
2. Natural - wood finish
3. 265 £ with delivery
4. Light - inbuilt
5. Glass - cupboard door
6. Top drawer - with lock

7. Mrs. S. Rogala
8. Postcode was HE254UE or EU
9. Best time was 'morning'
10.

Can you confirm if it was necessary to write down “cm” for first question of listening section 1?

My BF just did IELTS General Training in Hamburg, Germany.

For writing
Task 1 was a friend asking for advice for an upcoming job interview, and one had to write him a letter giving advice.
Task 2 was a discussion on whether it was good that there more cars or better that there are more bikes in cities. Discuss it and give own opinion.

I had same question on 12 May exams

Cm was already mentioned there so there was no need to write

Reading section wasnt question 38 - "NO".? I have seen some people on this tbread say a yes and some said no.

Also wasnt the use of medical equipments - FALSE

Hi,
Reading section wasnt question 38 - "NO".? I have seen some people on this tbread say a yes and some said no.

Well, I believe "yes" should be the correct answer because it was said in the passage that there was a breif expansion during early 1960s.
Also, I opted for B regrading Q #40

If by medical equipment you mean elctronic equipment, I also opted for FALSE since laser and ultrasound work on electricity, obviously.

Hey Guys,
For writing task 2, instead of writing a discussion essay i have written a opinion essay.i realised that i am writing in the wrong way only when it was about 20 mins to complete the exam. I understand that it will definitely reduce my band, but how much will it get reduced.. Please let me know ur thoughts..

I think if u mention your opinion in introduction paragraph and after that discuss both with that pattern.it will be ok but if you gave ur opinion in conclusion may be it will deduct some
