IELTS-General or Academic?

Can anyone let me know which IELTS are we suppose to take-General or academic?
Do we need any specific preparation of IELTS?

As far as training is concerned, it depends on the score that you want to achieve.

general IELTS is for immigration purpose and Acedemic IELTS is for studing to take admission in any kind of study. If you r good in english then there is no need to take coaching. But i suggest you do practice to manage your test time so and so .Do practice on three or four excersises at home before your exam.
