IELTS General exam in one month

Hello Everyone,

Guys, I am planning to apply to Canada PR so I understand the first step it would be required is to write IELTS exam. I have scheduled for the exam in one month. I guess this time would be sufficient to crack the certain band
I need your help on below points.

1.I am not sure which band should be my target ? I am yet to check on this part, I have 4 years and 10 months of IT experience and I will be applying for single.

2.Could you please guide me in starting the preparation. Material or Ebooks or etc.

Listening:8
Speaking:7
Writing:7 and
Reading:7

Is the exam pattern in India is paper + pen based or computerized ? would be happy if someone can throw light on it.

its not only in India but everywhere paper and pen only.
