My first attempt in LRWS 8.5, 8.5, 7, 7.5.
Planning to create EE profile this month end.
Credits to ieltsmaster, LIZ and EMMA!!!
Also thank this forum for clearing many doubts.

Wow!Congratulations!!!
Everyone getting desired scores. Are the scores true or you all faking it. If it’s true I guess exam Centres have finally improved their checking process.

I took exams from 14th oct till feb. Last time i got 0.5 less in writing and gave for rechecking but EOR did not help. I was so frustrated so i gave exam on 1st and 10th feb both. Tips i would suggest to go through all LIZ ielts videos and check format on LIZ website. Trust me writing is the place were they will hold u for 0.5 marks

if you scored 6.5 in writing, my advice to you is to write down what you gave in the exam, then ask an opinion of an IELTS teacher or friends who ever scored 7.5 or above.
If they think your score was underestimated and your case is not TIME SENSITIVE as well (a re-mark process takes 1-2 months or even longer), then go for a re-mark.

Seeing your overall band (I had the same one like yours), I think you have an excellent English skill in general. My guess is you made the same mistake as what I did - logically your essay was not planned well and you didn't fully understand what the essay topic asked for.
