My ielts will expire on 22 november I have to deffer my admission to may 2012 is it necessary to reappear in ielts chc islamabad

I think ypu do not need to appear again because you already have accepted in a Canadian School on the basis of your IELTS

If by the time you apply for the VISA with the Canadian High Commission, the IELTS Score expires, you will need to re-appear for the IELTS. The website of CIC says:

IELTS test results taken within last 24 months with overall band not less than 6.0.

So, I believe you would be required to re-appear for the IELTS Exam.

P.S - This is just my understanding of the procedure.

Hi,

*Read it in case you have already applied for study permit.

You do not need to reappear for IELTS ONLY IF CHC Islamabad request you to submit letter of deferral. Your voluntary submission of letter of deferral got NO value.

I have not applied yet for CAQ

because

I have a conditional letter of offer which is not yet arrived.
First i want to clear the conditions.
then i will apply for CAQ which will take more than one month so i have to defer my admission to may 2012
and my ielts will expire on 22nd of november.......
Another thing is that i am also waiting for a decision from uottawa..............
