IELTS Expiry during Pre-ITA

Hi Everyone,

I am currently filling up my Express Entry application through CIC portal. Currently I reside & work in Canada with an PGWP (Open Work Permit). I took my IELTS General Training test 2 years ago and it would expire end of next month (April 2019).

I am planning to apply through the EE portal end of this month. Would this situation be an issue later? If I hopefully receive ITA after a few months (during this timeframe my IELTS results would have expired) will it be a problem?

Would appreciate any input or suggestions based on this situation.

You need to submit an application before your test result expires, i.e. before end of April. Otherwise you'll have to redo the test.
"Receiving an ITA after a few months" won't work.

Thanks for the reply. I am new to this and wanted to confirm your opinion.

So if I apply now I would just be another candidate in the pool right? If I receive an ITA and during that time if my IELTS expires is it going to be an issue? Or it doesn't matter since I have submitted my application before the expiry date?

@ContactFront I just received my ITA. So if I collect all required documents such as Police Clearance, Medical, Work Experience letter, etc and submit it through the portal before my IELTS expires (end of April) would that work? Or is that going to be an issue later?
