Ielts expires after submitting pr application.

I received an ITA in EE and would be submitting my application by May hopefully but my ielts expires on Augus to 1st. Should I retake ielts? Should ielts be valid throughout the whole PR process (6 months)?

No, it is valid as long as you submit your eAPR before its expiry date.

Some say that they require a valid score at the end of the process. Let's say if I retake ielts just to be on the safer side, if I score lesser than the score that was used to apply for pr, will that be a problem?
