Hi All,

Appreciate your expertise advise on below.

I have applied for Canadian PR under express entry. I did my IELTS in 2015 July and results were expired in July 2017. I took IELTS twice however my scores are not high enough to reach 450/460 in order to be eligible for the current CRS scores to receive the ITA under federal scheme. (Overall 7.5 but one band is 6.5 hence CRS score is low)

It is quite frustrating. I need to know are there any chances that one can write to CIC to get any exceptions for this as my IELTS score which just expired has overall 8 and will be more than enough to secure an ITA? Consider that I studied in Australia for both my bachelors degree and obtained my masters degree as well and living in UAE for the past 5 years. Please provide me if there are any chance of me requesting CIC for any exception. Any advise would be appreciated.

Thank you all in advance.

Forget about exemptions, it's not gonna happen under no circumstance with CIC (A recent IELTS score is MORE important than your passport/ID cards! Period.).

I know that yours was expired, so just apply to sit for a new test (make sure you practice effectively). You'll do great.
