Hi All,

Did any one do IELTS exam on last saturday on 8th.

I want to verify answers. Let's discuss questions.

Listening quesions were about:
interview for elderly care -

The Anwers to the Japnese one's according to me were .

Feels LECTURES boring/or whatever that following word was.

And Finds the GRAMMAR and the WRITING difficult...

And the Teacher are usually patient but sometimes .....(I Missed This) , Anyway i wrote VULNERABLE.

And for that she said about FOOTWEAR in the shop, which can be bought...

I took mine in Dominican Republic. Listening sections were about booking a hotel, something about a university presentation and something about ocean waste
Reading sections were about different tour options, something about turtles in Costa Rica, something about distance education...

Listening topics were regarding university presentation. Booking a hotel.
Reading - Something about turtles and their eggs on shore in particular season.

Writing - Care of elderly by professionals or relatives? Do you see it as a positive or negative development. another Letter was about writing to your bank manager regarding cancellation of appointment.

I got Grammar wrong.

In Dominican Republic. On the listening part, the first situation, I missed the parte about the kids can cook in the (blank) on the beach I think it it was.

Then the last one, about the stages of some investigation, I didn't realized there were question on the back, and some I missed what they did it the ocean waste. Wrote whatever. In total there are 5 in the listening that I'm not so sure about and 2 of those I know are wrong.

Then in the reading part I was a bit confused in the one related to the different tours. I found three that were for the same listing (E) and that had me wondering.

Writing I think it was very good and speaking too.

Absolutely disappointed!

Got my IELTS result today. Scored 8 in all sections, except for 6.5 in writing. With this IELTS score, I shall get 390 CRS points, which is of course not at all enough!

Could you guys kindly suggest/guide me on way-forwards? I can opt for revaluation but then it takes more than a month and during this time I believe I cannot enter the pool. Sitting for another test is another alternative but honestly, I cannot find enough courage to go through the grueling routine again! However, if it is a must then I have no choice
