IELTS DATE REQUEST!! EARLY DATE!!

Hi All

Im new to the forum and just gathering my documents for the CEC application. I've been looking online for dates for the IELTS in Greater Toronto Area.The best date i get is sometime in late June and early July.

Is there any way to get an earlier date?

any help will be great..

I did IELTS also. The calendar was pretty much booked up at the time I was booking. I called the office and asked if they could squeeze me in before hand (it took two attempts). The 2nd call I managed to get a much earlier date.

I drove down to Pittsburgh and did it there. There is a consistently long wait to do it pretty much anywhere in Ontario.

i just did a quick search and there seems to be spots available for 25 may 2013 at Mississauga!!

Did you call Algonquin College?
Their name is not listed at IELTS website.
I did mine in January at Algonquin college. I called them up 2 wks before and they had a couple open spots.

i just did a quick search and there seems to be spots available for 25 may 2013 at Mississauga!!

Be careful to ensure they are for the "General Training" test and not the "Academic" one if you are intending to use it for a CEC application.

At the time of my test on APR 6th. There are some people who were not scheduled showed up and it seems to me they are eventually allowed to take the test. Call or go to the test center and talk to them. You might get a earlier date.
OR, BOOK the latest test NOW! As long as it's in the 3 hours of driving range. GO GO GO!

Worst case you can always drive to Windsor, London, Chatham if you want.. they always have spots

All IELTS exams are usually booked for three weeks ahead. Just a hint from my side. If you really want to get your results back as soon as possible ask them to keep it at their office so you can pick it up yourself, otherwise they will mail it with regular mail which takes another week to get delivered. Another thing, order two copies, just to play in the safe side. The second copy is free.
