IELTS Band score in terms of score on the immigration form

Currently, if I give myself a 8, my marks come up to a 63 which is 4 points below the qualifying mark of 67. How much would I have to score on the IELTS in order for me to qualify to apply for immigration?


And, also how does the band score of 5/6/7/8 relate to the scores calculated on the immigration form. Please help .

Based on what you have said, you will need 4 more points in IELTS, hence a total of 12 points from your IELTS exam to reach 67 points.

How many question in total? Out of how much? and if I need 12 points, how many can I afford to get wrong?

the speaking and writing test we cannot determined how much should be the score.

However in listening and reading, each is 40 questions each...In order to have a high proficiency/score, you ahve to score 33 points out of 40 and you will get 8 points in total...

However in listening and reading, each is 40 questions each...In order to have a high proficiency/score, you ahve to score 33 points out of 40 and you will get 8 points in total...

reading - 4 (if you get a score of 33 out of 40)
speaking - 2 (if ur band is 5.5)
writing - 2 (if your band is 5.5)

so make sure you can achieve the listening and reading points to get the maximum points.
speaking and writing is beyond my control but you can practice speaking (just be comfortable when you are being interviewed as if you are just talking to a friend minding of course the correct pronunciation, diction and grammar when answering) and writing...
