IELTS - academic or general

Hi Everyone,
As a RN with BSc (hons) degree from UK.
Which of the IELTS test do I need to do.
I learnt that one need the general for Visa application,
and the academic for registering as a RN.
The query is do I need to do both?

Please help with any useful info. asap.
I will be very grateful.

U have to sit for General training IELTS. Academic IELTS is not acceptable.

Thank you Dr Hasib,

I was applying for the general but
then I noticed on the registration form for
license to practice as a RN it states "Academic IELTS".
That's what brought the confusion.
