IELTS 6th January 2018 answer key

I took my exam on 6th of this month in tampa..
I can see my result online
L-7.5
S-6
R- 7
W- 7.5

Are these scores final (or) do i need to wait for official report ?

I haven't prepared for this exam, I just went and wrote.
I don't know if i can score 7.5 in writing again, even if i am prepared. Is that really easy or am i lucky?

My total score looks 400 now. Is this enough for joining the pool atleast or do i need to write again?

Yes ...you are eligible for entering the pool for sure. But try to increase your score by reattempting the IELTS. The lowest CRS score for ITA so far has been 415....

I called up IDP Hyderabad and they said they will announce the results on 27th. They seemed sure when they told this.

Different replies to different persons. IDP replying with different answers like 24 jan, 27 jan , 31jan.

BC replying to few , 27 jan.

I am assuming, Cambridge is the main test partner and they are the one who decides the results announcements, test centers just sending based on assumptions or dates they receiving from Cambridge.

Alaa, I received same email from same guy , I did my exam in Al Khobar and still waiting

When i called in IDP dubai he said we should soon get an update. Update however does not means result. The results for those who have gaps in modules are on hold. Apparently this is to avoid reassessment. They didnt sound confident on any date as to what results should be on board. Looks like its all in air as of now. The only thing will happen is this forum will have unlimited responses.

The email received just now:

At this time we cannot give you a definite date for the release of results as the analysis undertaken is an extensive process. The release of results will not be delayed for any longer than necessary but appropriate measures must be taken to protect the integrity of all IELTS results.


We will provide you with an update on progress of the analysis on or before Wednesday 31st January 2018.
