:(:( i got mine... just missed by an edge:
L: 8.5
R: 9.0
W: 6.5
S: 8.0

Can someone please suggest if it would be worth to recheck?
Great score buddy. I would suggest you go for recheck, there is possibility your score might increase. But do keep in mind time frame of 3-4 months for EOR. If that suits you then only opt, otherwise appear again.Good luck!

Hi, got mine too. L-9,R-9,w-6.5,s-8. Missed by0. 5 third time in a row.
Check your CRS score buddy, If there is not much of a difference in the points then apply with this results. As to what I understand is listening score plays an important role in our CRS calculation

This is unbelievable... It was my 5th attempt and again missed .5 in writing..
But this time around I was confident about my writing. In other sections i have scored 8,7.5,7... Really disappointed... Not sure what to do..

Seems like BC is running a money making scheme through IELTS.

I know more than 15 people around me who have attempted 3-4 times and every time they missed by 0.5 in either speaking or writing (exams where subjectivity is involved). This cannot be a mere coincidence that each one of them misses by only 0.5 everytime mainly ib writing and speaking. Since, the 2 exams have lot of subjectivity involved, you cannot prove it in any court of law. Surprisingly couple of them got 7’s and 8’s in speaking and writing only when their Listening score was 7.5.

Thats the whole game, keep your candidates hopeful enabling them to reinvest 200 USD every time.

My request to all candidates all those who missed it by 0.5 marks, please refrain from wasting your money until-
- you desperately need to get out of your country regardless of money concerns
- this was your first attempt and you still think it’s worth one more attempt
- you have too much money and afford it.

All others, invest your money to build up your skill set which will give you better returns rather than chasing unrealistic dreams.

No, dear it makes a lot of difference, of about 45 points. I am contemplating reevaluation. Please suggest

Ohh my, 45 points is a huge deal. I would suggest to go for a recheck. If its just 0.5 increase then you might get it, but if you need more than 0.5 then retest is one option.
