Also if we call to main office of BC, before connecting to the executive, it says that result of 20 jan 18 test have been withheld and check mail for updates...I mean they have included in their tape so it should be for all

Ielts Liz was the best solution for me with task 2 and i went through Barron Ietls Writing for task 1.

Inbox me your email address I will forward you the sample essays by Liz for each type of questions. This document samples each type of essays with many question types for each type . This helped me to address the question accurately in the actual test.

I dont know if it actually helps, but i selected "other" for the purpose of taking the test during registration instead of "immigration".

nope. try practicing them on a daily basis. Use tips on websites like ieltsliz.com, and practice till the last day.

Create a study group on Whatsapp or on this website, and share the essays that you write with the rest of us for feedback.
 
Scored 8 in writing in 1st attempt and now a 6!!!!!! this is so unfair i know i did my writing part well to get atleast a 7....how can my writing downgrade so much in a month is beyond me :(

I feel you, this is my first attempt and I got a 6.5 overall!!!! This test was hard unlike any of the tests I practiced, I have friends that are way below average in English and scored much better than me !!?
It just seems unfair.

I received the mail stating that the results are under investigation. Not sure if all the candidates are facing the same problem or it is only for few (random) candidates.

I am still waiting for my results for the test which I took on 6th january... same communication from their end ..that some investigation is going on ... and thats not case with any individual ... 20percent of people have got their results rest are bearng with IELTS IDP and BC
 
Do you think we should aim for a longer essay in order to get band score 7 and more?
I've heard that we should try to write near 400 words to get a high score.

What do you think?

Edit: Those guys who've gotten above 7 in writing, please share with us how many words did you write?

We r waiting for 20/01 exam and hopefully will get them on 9 feb

I feel for you man. I wrote twice to crack it. Good luck next time.
Checkout the availability in other nearby cities if time is a concern. I live in NC but travelled to VA.
 
Date: 20.01.18 IELTS GT (IDP), Jalandhar Punjab
Got an email that result is delayed, expected to get an update on 09.01.

Hope we all should get results by 9th, waiting in such situation is quite a hell.

All the best to those who all are waiting like me...Prayers !!

Please dont let it discourage you. You just have to push for it. This will be a part of your testimony.
