What's the different between IELT academic test and general training? Do i still need to take the general training for applying immigration if i took the academic test and pass?
Yes, you have to take the IELTS General for immigration. They will not accept the IELTS Academic.
There are various differences between the two, but it doesn't really matter - if you're applying for any immigration program in Canada that requires a language test, you have to take the IELTS General or CELPIP-General test (or one of the French ones).
