For eligibility, Yes.

For a CRS score high enough to land a regular ITA in the near future, probably not.

You want to get 8.0 in listening and 7.0 in everything else at minimum. This is because of how the points for language are allotted and combined to create the aggregate CRS score.

To get max points for one language you need 8.5 in listening 7.5 in speaking and writing and 8.0 in reading.

You are ineligible unless you are applying under FSTP.

For FSW/CEC, you need to have at least 6 in each section.

I am 28 and an Engineer with a US Master's degree and so is my Spouse. (Her IELTS scores are: L-8.5, R-8.5, W-7.5, S-7.5). Both have about 4.5 years work experience outside Canada. No current job offers in Canada. I am expecting a CRS of about ~ 480 (Based on the free CRS calculator online). What are the chances of getting an ITA and how soon after completing the EE profile can one expect an ITA?
