IEC - Young Professionals category

Hello experts,

Can one apply for IEC under Young Professionals category if they have already received IEC work permit under Working Holoday category?

More specifically, I am from Germany and have received IEC WORKING HOLOIDY which I will activate in January. I will use it to start a job in Canada right away (I already have the job offer in hand). My job offer is actually a permanent one.

I would like to use this job offer to apply for a IEC work permit under Young Professionals category to use once the Working Holiday one expires.
My question is, would this be possible? or I should wait till the Working Holiday work permit expires and then I can apply for Young Professionals ? Is it ok if for Young Professionals I use a job offer from an employer for which I am working at the time of Young Professionals application?

1. Yes you can participate in both. Note there is no guarantee that your application will selected from the pool as it only has 400 spaces for young professionals.
