IEC Working Holiday Visa taking for ever, please help?

Hi all, I submitted my application in Kompass on April 16th
Got my CAL a couple weeks later
Submitted my application in myCIC on May 21st (used a letter of explanation for my police certificate)
Got asked for proofs of financial funds on June 1st and submitted it the next day
Got asked for medical tests on June 26th
Got asked for furtherance medical tests on August 26th
Got message that I had passed my medical tests on September 2nd

I have since then, been waiting for something to change in my application, is this timeline normal?

Also, since I submitted a letter of explanation on May 21st about my police certificate I have never got a new slot for it, and if they don't ask for it soon, I will have to get a new one!

I submitted a case specific inquiry form and never got an answer.

I'm getting worried... it's been 24 weeks vs the 2+6 they say it takes.

I would change your subject line in your original post to indicate that you are asking a question about IEC/Working Holiday Visa to increase the chances that someone who knows the answer will read your post.

There's really nothing you can do but wait.

As for whether your timelines are normal - your application isn't standard since you were asked for the medical furtherance, so your application isn't going to experience normal processing times.

Christ. Thank you scylla. I guess I'll just sit and wait then, doesn't get any more frustrating that that. Can't believe they said I passed the tests but then take a month a half more and still don't contact me for the next step, whatever that will be.
