I'm currently living and working in Canada through the IEC Young Professionals program. Since I'm not planning on extending my contract after August, I applied for the Working Holiday visa to travel around a bit and have an open work permit. I received an Invitation to Apply but now I'm having problems with completing my application.
In the initial IEC application I answered "Yes" to the question "Do you have a signed letter of offer, contract of employment, or internship agreement from an employer in Canada?" – it was presented under Work History, and that is reflecting my current situation (I have a contract of employment with my current employer in Canada through IEC Young Professionals).
Now, in the next application for the actual work permit, the answer is locked and I cannot validate my application unless I provide details of my future employer. The employment ID for WH visa is A0012345 (I looked it up from the CIC page). But it doesn't let me proceed unless I enter my future employer's name, address and whether they've paid the compliance fee.
Has anyone figured out how to solve this? I tried contacting CIC in all ways possible but there is no response and I'm afraid my invitation will expire. Please help!!
