IEC Working holiday and Travel Itinerary?

As you may know the UK IEC - Working Holiday (round 1) opened yesterday. I applied, got my response, paid + uploaded docs, and am currently awaiting validation. That said, I'm looking ahead to stage two:

One of the changes to the Open Work Permit (OWP) stage this year is the Itinerary requirement:

Document: Itinerary, Travel

You must provide a copy of your flight ticket or booking, if available, and/or the itinerary of your visit (proposed route of your journey.)
As I've no tickets yet (OWP still being in question), my thoughts were a pdf with a broad idea, such as:
  • Arrive on 2015-mm-dd (via Toronto)
  • Visit City A - Primary dwelling and work.
  • Visit City B - Few weekends/weeks.
  • Visit US - Few weekends.
  • Visit City C - Few weekends.
  • ...etc.
  • Leave on 2017-mm-dd

Nothing precise time-wise, just a broad overarching idea on the intent to visit places and leave.

Or should one just give the arrival, primary, departure estimates? Or does it, like the resume, not matter so much? Or am I really over-thinking this?

Obviously no one here will know what is best here, as current applicants are the IEC "pioneers" of the Itinerary req. I doubt it will severely impact my chances, however, I'd like to reduce issues.

What are your thoughts/opinions on the matter?

I would like some info around this too. I'm trying to apply for the IEC working holiday visa, and I didn't think I needed to submit an itinerary, as obviously I'm not going to book any flights until I know I have the visa!!

Pre-Assessed..
Keep it simple: approximate arrival date, where you plan to land/seek work, possible places you might visit, approximate departure date.

Don't overthink it :).

As far as I know, it's a new addition for all open work permits. Like Lammawitch suggested, I kept it simple. For example:

Departure Arrival
2015-09-08: City1, Country1 2015-09-08: Toronto, ON
2015-09-09: Toronto, ON 2015-09-09: City2, Province1
2017-09-06: City2, Province1 2017-09-06: Toronto, ON
2017-09-07: Toronto, ON 2017-09-07: City1, Country1

Province in which most time will be spent: Province1
Provinces intended to be visited: Province1, Province2, Ontario

As advised by IEC, no tickets have yet been purchased pending a Letter of Introduction.
