IEC VISA ''ON HOLD'' - PLEASE HELP!!!

Hello,

My visa for a working holiday (IEC) to Canada has been approved but my partners is ''On Hold''. It has been on hold for over a week now as he was missing one document but he has since uploaded it and his application is still on hold! We're freaking out as we are aiming to go to Canada by July. He uploaded all his documents within the time frame (he had 20 days to do it, and did it in 7). We cant get through to any embassy helpline numbers and the Canadian Embassy in Ireland don't know anything about Canadian visas (how ironic!)

All help would be really appreciated!!

I'd wait another week or so - his missing document would have slowed down the process for sure.

If it is still within the 8 weeks processing time just have to wait I am afraid.

Hi I'm just wondering have you heard anything back?
Similar situation, I sent in all my documents but my police cert was never stamped by the gardai so they sent it back and within two hours I resubmitted it, stamped, etc. Now I'm on hold but want to fly out 6th June with my friends because we are only going til September just as a J1 kind of thing! Applied from Ireland so processing time should be 3 weeks but just worried about being on hold!

I'm in similar situation the Garda form wasn't stamped so had to resubmit it, and now on hold but want to fly out by 6 June as will only be there til September. Do you think it is ok to book the flights now? Or just have to wait this out? So annoying that I submitted everything but now on hold because the guards didn't stamp the form

Any news? In Australia here and the same thing happened. It did not specify that the police check had to be from the federal police themselves, it just said "national police check - standard disclosure" I so bought one, it came back within 30 minutes, submitted it, like you I got a response within a couple of hours asking me to get an official one from the police themselves. The processing time for the police check I applied for was 25 days and I only had 20 days until the first of May to get it in. I even fast-tracked the application for the check, and managed to get it within one week. I submitted it about 10 days ago and it just says "uploaded but not submitted" It's now 10 days past the cut-off and my application is still on hold. I applied and paid for this late March and like you I'm eager to go to Canada as soon as possible. Waiting is brutal, all I want to do is buy the ticket. I've tried to message them through their unnecessarily complex customer service systems with absolutely zero luck. Anyone heard from them yet?

I had this on hold problem previously after i have done the medical exam and passed.

It only lasted for 3 weeks, then my working holiday visa was approved.
