IEC Update - 2020 IEC season closing on October 30

Does this include people like myself who have been invited to apply? I completed my biometrics back in July??

Government has announced that IEC will end its 2020 season on October 30 without issuing any new invitations. No plans have been announced for the 2021 season.

Candidates with active profiles in the IEC pools will have to create new profiles if/when the 2021 season opens.
 
If you did your biometrics in July surely you would have your POE by now?

I applied for RO iec working holiday with valid essential service job offer , did biometrics 2 weeks ago and waiting for POE which they said would take 2/3 weeks.

Did you apply with the assistance of an Recognised organisation? Im led to believe that's the only way they will process applications as of now . You also need a job offer deemed as an essential service i.e one that continued to operate throughout covid e.g construction,supermarket retail

I could be wrong however and it may be worth contact ircc via webform with you specific case enquiry. I haven't yet received a poe but if I do Il post it here I'm expecting it this week by what they told me.My profile is at the same status as yours , fully submitted and awaiting final processing.

IRCC put the processing of IECs on hold for many months. That's why OP hasn't receive the POE letter yet.
 
I have a job offer from my current employer, so no issues with that.

Is there a webform page where I can ask them for any form of update?

Bit poopy that they've made no announcement or communication with people who have biometrics done
