Hey all
We submitted out IEC stage 2 applications the other week no problem. Until I saw below
I attempted to upload a letter explaining why I cannot provide the traffic and police record as requested by the MY CIC form won’t give me the option, only the fields for the police check. The Australian Deferal Police check we got has a statement contained
We've emailed as many places as we can, but as everyone know we will most likely never get a response. The Consulate in Sydney say there is nothing they can do to help.
We have uploaded the national police check again with a letter attached explaining the situation, hopefully that garners a response.
Has anyone encountered this before? We don't leave until April next year so I'm confident it'll be sorted out quickly. It's just odd, we had nearly identical applications yet I got approved not a problem but they want additional from her.

My concerns are that my wife has never lived in Victoria, only ever in the Northern Territory and for my application which was approved I didn't have to get a state certificate only the national one.“xxxxxxx - AIMEE xxxxxxxxx:
> Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18, provide an original police clearance certificate . In addition to your previously submitted Police Certificate, please provide a Traffic History Report from Victoria. This report differs from the National Police Check. This must be received at this office by: 10/01/2013 “

We're really confused as to why it wants a traffic history report for a state she's never lived in, never indicated in any part of the application that she lived in that state and has never held a drivers licence for that state....has no reportable criminal convictions or court cases with the AFP or any State or Territory in Australia...
