So round 2 for the UK was yesterday, i've received a message this morning asking me to submit required documents and payment. Does this mean that I have a place? Also, should I be in a rush to get these documents submitted as in if others do it before me could I miss out on a spot?
Thanks

Congrats. Yes - this means you have been accepted. Yes - you need to rush. Not because others will take your spot but because there is a deadline by which your documents need to be submitted - otherwise your spot will go to someone else (at least that's how it's been in past years). You will probably find some of the documents being requested (e.g. police certificates) take some time to obtain.

Wow so excited! Thanks for answering all my questions really appreciate it! Will get my stuff uploaded right away. Say for example the visa lasts for a year, is it operative from when I actually come over or from the date of issue? Thanks

1. The work permit will be valid for 1 year from the date you arrive at a Canadian Port of Entry. (If you are from the UK, it will be 2 years)
