Has anyone of you had to pass medical examination while awaiting IEC decision here in Canada? My country of origin is Lithuania and I've uploaded all documents and forms for the II stage of IEC and everything seems to be fine but my medical which I've taken more than 2 weeks ago at one of the CIC approved physicians in Calgary. My current visitor status expires at the end of April and I'm kind of wondering now how long it takes after the medical to receive a response from CIC?. Does anybody know which immigration office make final decision,Canada or Embassy, since new rules for IEC has been introduced? In fact I've already been granted a tourist visa extension once. Any help would be appreciated.
