I think that's exactly what it is for,to send COPR. I can't come up with anything else, so you are good.

I'm still not allowed to post links on here, but go on CIC website, find the info about "change of address ", and do all of the above. At least CIC will have the correct address on their file if they don't inform the VO right away. Did you include the return address labels with your application?

As far as I know it may take from 4 days to nobody knows when.It depends where you are living at the moment and what address is on file.I read that some applicants got their COPR within a week! CIC sent them out on the same day the Decisions were made. Some had to wait longer, but I doubt it's...

Well, I was on IEC 1 year open work permit but had to provide an offer of employment letter for AINP cuz I applied through the Employer-Driven Stream. I do have a BOWP right now,that is valid until next year,and yes,its for Alberta only. Hopefully I get DM sometime soon. Cheers!

Thanks for you info akapoor. I heard some applicants change employers while waiting for their PR and then they receive a request to provide a job confirmation letter since they got nominated for one position, but start working in a different field with an open work permit right after they get it.
