Identity documents for PR

Hi,

I am currently on a closed work permit and i am completing one year of my Canadian experience in November . I would like to apply for my PR in November and i came to know that my birth certificate is considered a mandatory identification document for my PR application . I have a valid birth certificate from India , but it contains my full name( my original name plus extra two names ) which i have never used in any of the applications so far .Is there a way we could explain this in the PR application or get an affidavit from India stating that these two names are one and the same ?

Please clarify

Yes Birth certificate is a important document. Do u have those 2 additional name in any of your other documents such as passport / degree certificate atleast as an initial.?

In that case no issues. As far as the date of birth and parents name matches, first name is more than enough. But we can take risk, it depends on the VO.

My passport name is my just my first name and last name . My birth certificate has extra two names which was used for my baptism in India which i have never used in any of the documents so far .

There is one Work around for this situation
Don't claim you have Birth certificate . Instead of produce High school certificate (10th) in which Your name , , DOB , and any one of your parent name are mentioned.

Condition : assuming in Your 10th certificate your name is mentioned what you are going to file in CEC application

yes It will 100 % I am sure , for my wife I did same as her DOB certificate was in native language . CIC accept 10th certificate if it is having you complete name , DOB and any one of you parent name on it
