In the document "3911" (country specific requirements for middle-east), in the section of "Identity Cards" for Iran, there is the following phrase:

Identity cards (“Shenas Nameh”) for the principal applicant, spouse or common-law partner and all family members issued by the General Department of Civil Status and Census Registration, Ministry of the Interior.

Now, by "family members" does it mean those who are also in the application aside from my wife (in my case none) or does it simply mean all the identity documents of her mom and dad and siblings must be in there? Any body has practical experience with this?

by the way, same thing exist in the "Photo requirements" section:
Supply eight (8) recent photos for each member of your family and yourself. Follow the instructions in Appendix B:

Again, all or only me and her? :D

Thanks guys!

They just mean your wife. 'Family member' has a special definition for CIC. (However, for the Additional Family Information form, they do want information about parents, you, any children, and all of her siblings.)

Thank you very much for you info!
So as a final question, does that "Family Member" include me (the sponsor) as well?

Like when it says for every family member ... provide such and such documents, does it also include me?

Thanks

No, it doesn't include you.
