Please, go ahead and apply for your study visa. I applied for Winter intake last month and got my AIP first week of this month. I hope this helps.

Which country did you apply from? Curious because I did read somewhere that some Brazilian applicants did get the AIP for Winter 2021, however I didn't see anyone who applied from India(country where I applied from) report the same. I submitted my application in the first week of August. Have got the biometrics request, but nothing after that.

Hey! I am also done with one year fee and GIC and also done with the medical. I haven’t applied for study permit yet as I’m waiting till they’re done with the Fall intake students. I don’t want to hurry as the people applied in March haven’t got any AIP but those who applied in July-August already got AIP and some even got final decisions.

I’ll wait till I see some movement. Also, they hardly mention anything about Jan intake students. Every update is basically for the Fall intake.

I have so much hope for the oxford vaccine. It maybe possible that we too got to do our 1 sem online but things will surely get better till April.

Usually biometrics are done after you file an application but because of covid all the VFS offices are closed, biometrics isn’t happening. But yes, a full application needs to have your biometrics

Did you apply under SDS? If you don't mind me asking, did you make the entire fee payment to the univ or just show sanction of a bank loan? I ask this since confirmation of fee payment is one of the conditions of applying under SDS.
