I looked for this question everywhere on this forum and on other channels; however, it is a country specific issue. Thus, I could not find anything at all. For Express Entry, I am about to finish my submission. Nevertheless, there is this issue of ID document summary. My passport has expired and I have to use my National Id card for application. I am a Turkish citizen and our ID cards do not have an expiry date. Furthermore, we cannot state it as N/A on the system. What do you suggest other than getting a new passport for the time being?
Say that I used my "Nüfus Cüzdanı", which is the name of our National ID card in Turkey, the system asks for "Document # (exactly as shown on the document)". Is this what we name as "Nüfus Cüzdanı"?
Any possible answer would be appreciated.
