ICT WP to LMIA

Dears,
I'm currently working with employer A on ICT WP. Another employer B is willing to offer a Job for me and ready to sponsor Visa. What is the procedure to apply Visa.
1. Do they need to apply for LMIA.
2. If so, after LMIA, can i apply for a new WP.
3. Do i need to go out of country and come back on new WP.
4. Anything else to take care.

Can you please throw some light on the same.

1. Yes they need an approved LMIA.
2. Yes, you can't start the new job until you have the new work permit.
3. No.

Thanks a lot for your response.
1. Once they get the LMIA and I apply for a new WP, how will i get the actual WP in hand. My understanding was WP will be issued at port of entry.
2. Once i get new WP, will my old ICT WP be invalid immediately or is there any process to convert it ?

I am in the same situation like you. I have also got a new job offer and company is going to apply for a LMIA.
Did you get answer to below questions :

1) How did you get the new WP : At Port of Entry or you applied when in Canada?
2) Once i get new WP, will my old ICT WP be invalid immediately or is there any process to convert it ?
