I got the passport request from CIC today.
Does that mean my application has been approved?
My status has not changed yet.

Yes your WP is approved... Congrats..
How did you apply? Is there any Lawyer submitted on behalf of you or you yourself submitted.

I applied it online myself.
I am applying the postdoc work permit.
I believe you will hear from CIC very soon.

It's our turn now.. lets see how many more days it will take to move from 25th Jan to 27th Jan.
Did you submit Application online on your own or someone else submitted for you?

I am still waiting.. How did you got the email, is it something you got directly from CIC or Your employer or Attorney got the email from CIC..

Are you guys planning to go to VAC physically and submit passport or are you planning to send through post?
I am still waiting for the response from CIC, meantime I am trying to know the process... My preference is to visit VAC and submit passport, please share the details if you know the process..
