You can also call VAC team and ask for status - they may give you some information depending on what your query is about and at what stage application resides currently. When i called they gave a standard answer of 4-5 months processing time etc., but i informed that an approval email is already received from consulate and wanted to check the arrival of passport - they gave me exact info on what would be the next process and potential passport arrival date. They asked for application number which i do not know but still collected other details from me and could pull my application/status. Good luck.

I also submitted an application for ICT @ NY consulate through my company attorney. My application was submitted online on December 8th.
I got the below reply from CNGNYSP-PEWP-PT @ international.gc.ca today. Do you guys know how many more days it will take to get it approved after the Processing has started ? if you guys have any idea, please let me know. Thanks.

Processing has begun on this application and is now in queue for assessment.
All applications are reviewed in the order in which they are received. An exact schedule of completion is not available at this time as our processing time is a minimum of (30) thirty days.

Hi All, does any one know if ICT approval time depends on the nationality or not ? Will it take more time for Indian nationals ? If any one have idea about this, please let me know thanks.
6 weeks and no news yet , my lawyer told me that it has increased to 10-12 weeks. based on the experience of folks here, does any one know the average time taken to get it approved ? thanks in advance.

I don't think it is dependent on nationality it should be FCFS(first come first serve) . May be due to spike in volume accompanied by coming long weekend there might be some delays . Keep your fingers cross you should get good news soon .

@mamichael2014 it depends if you are in NYC or nearby will suggest submit and connect personally . It took exact 3 days for me .Folks who have submitted thru fedex/UPS should be able to tell you their experience.
