I got PPR today.
I got my biometrics approved from the last application(which was study permit)
For the next step, to submit the passport request at VFS site, what should I select for the option ' Did you enrol biometrics for this application?' No or Yes???

Hi,

I am about to file for ICT Work Permit. However on the Canada website the processing time form India is showing as 50+ weeks. Even my company's immigration lawyer is mentioning it can take anything between 10 to 50 weeks. However as I can see in this conversation thread people are getting it in 8 to 12 weeks. Why is the main website still showing 50 weeks and whats the correct processing time? Thanks!

if your work permit is in GSS you will get the ppr in 7-8 weeks after biometric.

My company applied for ICT for me and Open Work Permit for my wife on 9 June 2021. I received my ppr request on 27 Jan 2022 and i received stamped passport in 3 weeks.. but no updates yet for my wife.. has anyone faced this issue? What are the current timelines for spouse open work permit from india?

I've already submitted birth certificate for my daughter(Age 2) as part of the online application filing but today IRCC has requested to provide birth certificate again through request. While submission should i give my name or daughter name in the sign option?

we already had valid biometrics taken few years back. Since the company is applying we don’t have any idea about the other timelines. They don’t share the details.

This is very strange. I wonder what can be the reason to hold PPR for a 4 year old. I guess, you should try to contact the place where you need to send your passports and enquire. If they aren't right people to respond then at least they should give you right pointers.

My company is processing ICT WP (GTS).
ICT WP applied: 22 Feb 2022
Medicals : done upfront
Biometric letter received 23 Feb 2022
Biometric appointment on : 8 March 2022 (VFS Delhi)

1. As my application is managed by some Canadian firm appointed by my company, is there any way, so that I can see my application status? as I have the Application number, UCI number, IRCC No etc.
2. What are the current timelines, the site says processing time 53 weeks which is quite discouraging, where as my company staff say, they see PPR request in 18-20 weeks normally
