Hi. Working in Infosys. LMIA exempt ICT visa initiated with the below timeline:
Application files: Jan 15, 2022
Biometrics: Jan 31, 2022
Medicals updated: Feb 14, 2022
NOC:
Under Review of Eligibility, it says
- Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start reviewing your eligibility.
- We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.
Medicals was taken upfront.
Any idea, if I could get PPR in 6-8 weeks?

Best guess, NOC 2174 comes under skill level A, Infosys should register under GSS. It is mentioned in your Offer letter.
You may get PPR around March 20-25.I filed 7 days after yours' , from Infosys. Do let us here know when you get PPR.
I am very sorry. I made a mistake in the previous post. The NOC is 2173.Does, 21733 will also have the same timelines?

Also, does the visa type "Exempt from LMIA" affect the visa processing?
Yes 2173 timelines observed to be 6-8 weeks from Biometric or 4-5 weeks from Medical updated.
GSS category had 2 week processing time earlier now it's 6-8 weeks. LMIAE number helps in expedited processing as well which otherwise had taken 3.5 months to my colleagues.
I don't know how to identify GSS/GTS category.
My employer helped me file WP and also with the document. My work permit type is "Exemption from LMIA", and job code is NOC 0213.
My biometric was done on 11-Feb, and medical status updated to passed on 01-March. But when can I expect approval?

NOC 0213 is managers level so your company would have specified if it is GSS while filing. Since it is LMIAE then ideally by April 10 you should get PPR.
While filing there was a Specialized Knowledge document, which mentioned this - Intra-company Transferee – Specialized Knowledge Employee – CEC C- 12". Does this mean my application was filed as GSS? Does it make a difference in processing time?
Also do processing times differ for different job codes? Like would NOC 0213 be any faster/slower than others?

Yes this means GSS. Pre-covid GSS WP would be approved within 2 weeks of application while non GSS would take 1-2 months.

Not sure but I know that NOC under Skill types 0,A,B are prioritized first compared to rest.
I filed on 8th Feb and got done with Biometrics on 11th Feb. Medical status was updated on 01st Mar.
So you and I are almost on the same timeline - please let us know when you get PPR.

I could not track the current status of my application, since it was filed by a law firm in Canada. I have the UCI and other application details with me. Is there a way to track the application by myself?
Few of my colleagues who completed biometrics between September to December got their PPR within 4 weeks of time.
