ICT Visa Timelines Analysis - New York Consulate Processing Time

I recently applied for Canada ICT Visa for Managerial role from USA on May 11th, 2016 through my employer. I have been trying to track the processing timeline and came up with the below analysis. This Analysis is done based on the weekly updates done by Canadian consulate in New York in Facebook and collating it.

The definition of what each column of the table represents given below

Column A Date Posted on Facebook
Column B Date on which the applications submitted are being processed
Column C Interval in which the Facebook was updated (in days) (Difference between previous update and the next update in Facebook)
Column D how many days worth of application is processed between previous update and current update
Column E Difference in days between processing date and application submitted date (how long it is taking for consulate to process an visa application)
Column F The same as previous column but in months

Based on the analysis, on an average New York consulate processes 1.13 days worth of application on any given day.
On an average it takes 84.9 days for consulate to process your visa application. Minimum it has taken 71 days and the maximum it has taken 98 days.

Please share your timelines and experience so that it will help others.

IMP: Please NOTE that this is only for online applications in New York consulate.

I actually applied same visa as you on May 10th online
I did the same table as yours except that I start tracking from April-1 2016. since they didn't update the visa update on 06/17, so I'm looking forward to see what's the progress on this Friday.

touch wood, the last 2 updates they posted were moving fast. Hopefully the same trend continues. I also noticed that the processing timelines on the CIC website also got reduced to 11 Weeks from 3 Months, which is a positive sign.

Ya, it looks like they move faster now, it's a big surprise that from June 3rd to June 10th, they proceed by 22 days. Paper based already reached May 09 on June 10. Not sure after they clear the paper based applicants, online based might move even faster?
There is no update on May 27 and June 17, hopefully this Friday there won't be another rain check lol

Got the weekly updates today and Ridiculous!!! In the last 14 days only 9 days worth application has been processed. Currently the consulate is processing Online applications submitted on April 21st.

Also another thing i noticed was For VAC application on last update which was on June 10th, they were processing applications submitted on May 9th but on June 24th the update says they are processing applications on May 2nd REALLY???? Is it possible they process applications processed till May 9th and go back again to revisit the applications processed. Is it good to believe these updates??

ya, I saw the update too. it is ridiculous!!! initially I can't even believe my eyes and double check couple times. Those people are really low efficiency. I don't think they even work on the processing of application too much. Remember there is no update on May 27th, that two weeks they move forward by 11 days, it's very similar as this time. I think they are trying to balance the workload, like work hard for a week, then relax a week. bunch of ridiculous people!!

they even delete June 10th weekly visa update, I guess they try to cover the fact that after two weeks "hard work", non online work permit even move backward to May 2 from May 9, what a nice move .......... lol

Current week update, the NY consulate is processing visa applications submitted on 3rd May...My application submission date is 11th May...so getting there and hopefully it gets processed within next week but there is July 4th holiday but feeling positive that it will be completed within next week.

Do you guys know how long does it take for the consulate to return the passport for stamping.

Can i go in person and submit the passport for stamping and collect in person

looks like new patter show up, they will skip one week of update, then continue update for two weeks, then skip following week it's been like that since May 20.

Hi Guys, I am very happy to announce that I got my Visa approval notice today from my company's immigration team. My visa application was submitted by my company through online on 11th May and I got the approval notice on 11th July, exactly 2 months. I will be shipping my passport today for stamping.

Do you guys know how long does it take to get the passport back?
