Scylla - do you really have some hopefull info for me? I believe canada visa process and the employees who work there are not having any guidelines regarding timelines. Saying covid all are taking advantage and stopping the people to mograte. Instead of this better they stop accepting the applications. Also only students are getting visa in just 1 week after biometrics. Not sure what it differs for student and workers. Does student will not be affected by covid? Its all to earn money. If they ask for more fee we are also teady to pay money to get visa. Stupid canada visa officers

Hi All,

I am new to this thread, and looking for some guidance.

I have an offer for an ICT and my company’s lawyers have submitted the work permit application for the same (timelines below). I have below questions

1. Since FSW draws are expected to start from July, Can I claim 50 points for a job offer? If yes, what information would I need?

2. Can I also apply for Ontario PNP with the job offer? If yes, what support do I need from my company? And given the PNP timelines, is it worth it?

3. While my work permit processing is in progress, can I apply for a visitor visa to Canada as I intend to visit my family there? Will it intervene with the work permit application?
