can some one please post the timeline? We submitted application on 08/08 and did biometrics on 15/08 for CWP and SOWP and kids study permit. We are running out of visa in USA and need this approval fast. How can we expedite? After biometrics what happens? Is approval the next step? Did anyone receive approvals recently?

There is no way to expedite.

It looks like people who did biometrics in May are still waiting. I would recommend you join the discussions in the thread above.
