ICT Application with Open work permit for Spouse

Hello Everyone,

My company & immigration team applied ICT specialized knowledge application for me and open work permit for my wife. I would like to have some clarity on how the processing time works.

1. Does the open work permit application delays the overall processing time?
2. Is there a possibility of one being approved and another being refused?
3. If approved, do they come together?

Application Submitted - July 22nd, 2020
Biometrics Instructions Letter - July 22nd, 2020
Biometrics submitted - July 23rd, NY VAC Office

I would really appreciate any insights on this you can provide. Please let me know your experience

Not noticeably - because you wouldn't know anyway
2. Is there a possibility of one being approved and another being refused?
The only possibility is for yours to be approved and your spouse's denied. No one could possibly even begin to guess why, based on the information you gave, if that's your next question.
3. If approved, do they come together?

Hello,

I'm in a similar situation. But i did not apply for visa with my wife's application.
When can i start applying for open work permit
1. After her visa approval
OR
2. After she travels to Canada
