Dear Saqib did you got answer from somewhere ?Hello Everyone,
My name is Raqib and I am from Pakistan. I intend to get my ECA from ICAS for purpose of applying for permanent residence in Canada. I have three specific queries regarding the ICAS application form and process:
Q1: I am going to get ECA for my Bachelors Degree, do I need to send my HSC and SSC documents too? These documents are mentioned optional, so is it better to send them than not?
Q2: How many additional copies of the required documents do I need to require? It will be great if you tell me about all the additional things required other than the attested photocopies of my Degree and/or attested copies of HSC and SSC certificates?
Q3: In the online form of ICAS, do I need to write my education history from class 1? or do I only need to write my education history from SSC? In the online form they ask for a) Primary, b) Secondary, c) Post Secondary , and there are three tabs for other. Please guide me on the filling of this page of online form.
In Pakistan, Primary means (Class 1 to 5), then there is middle class (Class 6 to 8), then Secondary (Class 9 to 10), then Higher Secondary (Class 11 to 12), I understand post secondary is degree, Kindly help me to fill this part of the online form.
Thank you very much for your help,
Regards,
Raqib

I received the answer of this query from ICAS today.
For university education completed in Pakistan, ICAS will prepare an assessment of the study provided that the university was formally recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) at the time of admission.
Please review the specific documentation requirements by country athttp://www.icascanada.ca/new/immigration-to-canada.aspx/documents.aspx. You will note that there are specific documentation requirements for education completed in Pakistan.
For university education completed in Pakistan, we require HEC-attested photocopies of both the graduation diploma / degree certificate and marks certificates submitted to ICAS in an envelope that has been signed and sealed by the Islamabad office of the HEC (Higher Education Commission)at the time of attestation. ICAS will not accept documents which have been previously attested and packaged by the HEC at a later date.
The HEC must attest both your original documents and a set of photocopies. The HEC will return the attested photocopies documents in a stamped, sealed envelope. You must then submit this envelope to ICAS unopened. For information about degree attestation, please visitwww.hec.gov.pk and http://das.hec.gov.pk/. The HEC is not required to complete the Official Records Request Form.
Even if your documents have been previously attested, you must follow the above procedure to obtain the attested copies in a sealed HEC envelope. You do not need to be physically present in Pakistan to request the service. It can be completed entirely by courier. Details are available on the HEC website.
