ICAS education assessment from Pakistani university

Dear thanks for giving me hope.... but they have not yet started assessment..its still in queue from last 20 days that why i m worried what was ur experience with ICAS??

No dear it still showing same staus since 2nd july...now i m getting worried..today i hv also sent them email but i know their reply they will say wait till 8 weeks i think i did mistake choosing icas is there anyone who can share his experience?

Whats's your year of passing from PIMSAT & what's the total duration of your BS - CS?

I also have it dating back to 2003 which was of 2 years.

I wonder how they're going to rank us? Does anyone have an idea what mark would they be awarding a 2 years degree which translates into 14 years of ft study from PIMSAT?

Hello

Still under process, I submitted the fees on 15/6/14 and ICAS received my documents on 28/6/14, they raise objection because I didn't send a set of photocopies of my educational documents with the set of HEC attested docs, apparently they required 2 sets now one HEC attested and the other plain photocopies of your educational docs, plain sets reached ICAS on 17/7/14 and they updated the status as well, not I am waiting for any upcoming from ICAS with my fingers crossed.

Dear peter the process of applying for icas was simple as they dont require ssc,hsc docx...thats why we selected icas and also there r some guys whose universities r not listed in wes

I have applied for my educational documents assessment to ICAS have made the payment on 20th May 2014 online and sent them the documents which were attested by ibcc and hec in sealed envelops by my institutions and now they want me to send them another set of attested copies in sealed envelops by ibcc for metric and inter and hec sealed envelops for batcher and masters this requirement was not previously on their site and i suppose it is a development from 1st June 2014 what should i do i am so much worried does ibcc and hec seal the attested copies in their envelops and why this rule apples to people who applied before 1st june.

you don't have any choice other than sending the docx they requested.

save your time dear and try to send your application asap... you will not gain anything in arguing with them other than that day by day losing time and caps getting filled just meet their requirement ASAP. there is only one rule ... there is no rule ....

one thing i noticed that you sign on 20th May and your dox reached in July ... why u sent so late .... so from June 01 the policy of dox changed thats why they are demanding dox. i did from ICAS why u ppl are sending HSSC and SSC dox still they are optional. i haven't send HSSC and SSC dox

when one thing is optional no need to send them and try to be more efficient. Still on ICAS website these are optional dox.

you dont have nay choice Ali send them ASAP.

We have not yet received IBCC and HEC signed and sealed envelopes containing attested copies of your certificates and transcripts. The photocopies which you submitted were not in properly signed and sealed IBCC and HEC envelopes. Please forward the IBCC and HEC signed and sealed envelopes to ICAS by mail or courier.

We will hold your request until we have received this information. Please refer to your ICAS File Number in all communications with ICAS.

PLEASE READ THIS:

POST SECONDARY:

HEC-attested photocopies of both the graduation diploma / degree certificate and marks certificates submitted to ICAS in an envelope which has been signed and sealed by the HEC (Higher Education Commission). For information about document attestation, please see www.hec.gov.pk.

Documents sent directly by the institution are not required. The HEC is not required to completed to official records request form.

Secondary School (optional)

A IBCC-attested photocopy of the Marks Certificate for the Higher Secondary Certificate / Intermediate Certificate submitted to ICAS in an envelope which has been signed and sealed by the IBCC (Interboard Committee of Chairmen).

NOW I UNDERSTAND YOUR CASE WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED. INITIALLY YOU SEND THE DOX IN WRONG MANNER THE DOX SHOULD BE SENT IN ABOVE MANNER THERE IS NO NEED TO SEND THE TWO SETS I SEND THE DOX IN MAY AND I SEND ONLY THE POST SECONDARY DOX AND HAVEN'T SEND THE HSSC AND SSC AS THEY ARE OPTIONAL DOX. NOW U HAVE SEND HSSC AND SSC INITIALLY NOW U HAVE TO SEND THEM AS WELL.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO SEND THE ATTESTED DOX BY YOUR INSTITUTION INSTEAD YOU ATTEST THE DOX FROM HEC AND IBCC AND ASK THEM TO SEAL THE DOX IN ENVELOPE AND YOU SHOULD SEND THE DOX DIRECTLY TO ICAS ALONG WITH THE SIGNED SUBMISSION FORM WHICH THEY SEND YOUR WHEN U MAKE PAYMENT. NO NEED OF INSTITUTION IN THIS.

NOW GO TO HEC AND IBCC AGAIN ATTEST THE COPIES FROM THEM AND ASK THEM TO SEAL IN THEIR ENVELOPES FOR YOUR TAKE THEM AND SEND TO ICAS MENTIONG YOUR FILE NUMBER ON ENVELOPES.

HOPE U GET NOW THERE IS NO BIG ISSUE ITS VERY SIMPLE PROCEDURE.
