ICAS is now processing documents received on 18th December 2018. So if your documents reached them during this period, then a week more wait might get you closer to your dream canada.

Unfortunately, I chose ICAS thinking the 5mths stated on their website is true. Evaluating with WES for my country means processing some other documents that are not easily assessable. However, if I had known their 5mths assessment process will take more than 10months (I sent application since Dec 2018) then I would have tried WES. For your updated info, WES now takes over 2mths from the time they get your application and that's minus all the certificates I have to process from High School examination body. My application has been in queue since first week in February, which means I'll get d report soon, would you still advice I go for WES? Clearly not. Nobody knew it was going to take this long.

There clearly has been a massive influx of applications since USA stopped issuing/renewing visas. and till they sort that out, it's going to remain that way sadly.

Applicants from might still have to wait for few more months, eveyone keeps saying that they are still processing applications from December. SO I don't know.

Anyways, it's clear that you too are in similar situation where you HAD to use ICAS. ICAS is no one's first choice but it is our best option so here we are

After waiting yet in vain for ICAS to reply my mail, I called the number supplied by this forum a while back, but i've been getting this response 'no one is available to talk to you,more info on how to contact ICAS is available on the site'.

I'm surprised to see that it took nearly 11 months for you to get your ECA report. That is so disappointing for people like me who had submitted their request in the month of Apr 2019.


Like everyone else the only reason I chose ICAS is because if SMU-DE. I think it might be a better idea to apply for WES to get my bachelor degree assessed, Atleast that would give me an option to be in the Express Entry Pool and apply for PNP.

I think atleast IQAS does regular SMU degrees. When you send your docs to them they ask for the center of education. If it's in the same state as SMU then they evaluate that. Or atleast that was how it worked some 5-6 months ago

They dont and have been rejecting the applications for SMU since last October. Which is primarily why alot of people have opted for ICAS.

Who said that? MSBTE did for me and you can get the ORR form from the ICAS website itself and u have fill the required details and rest MSBTE will take care.

Can you please share procedure to get documents from MSBTE? Because when I contacted them, they denied

For the type of report which you requested, Assessment and Research Consultants are currently preparing reports for files for which we received appropriate documentation on, or before, December 17, 2018.

That's what I got today after asking them to update my address. My docs were received Feb 13.

I have 3 degree, bcom Gujarat University, MBA HR done from idea institute of management and technology Ahmedabad center, Sikkim Manipal University and one year diploma done from technical education board Gujarat.

Do I need to send 3 different sealed covers or how will it be? And also pls suggest where I have to get ECA done?
