to my HR partner and People Manager !

Hi,
Kindly suggest what help can my People Manager provide here.
Can he share the format with HR to print or how does it work.
Also, i have following query, if you can help -
My designation in offer letter was Associate Project Manager(7A).
It changed to Package Solution Consultant at the time of joining.
Now, it has remained same till my current band 8.
IBM Hr says they cant mention anything else on the letter except the current designation.
Who can help me in the same, and how can this be resolved with the help of People Manager.

IBM normally issues the letter without much issues. I got it last year within 2 or 3 days of applying. They have a dedicated portal for issuing this detailed reference letter
