IA recieved - Medicals request urgent question

Hi, i got medicals today , i contacted my local DMP but he has no early date available. I am leaving for toronto for some family get together so can i have my medicals there ?

will this a wrong impression on CIC that i live and work in calgary but taking the medical test in toronto ? can any one get back to me as soon as possible and address my confusion.


I have also been requested some docs as well which i will sent from calgary once i go back.


your quick responses will be highly appreciated.

- As long as you complete your medical to a CIC designated medical officer I do not see any problem with your location. Find and contact a CIC designated medical officer in Toronto. It is available on the CIC website.

I don't think it really matters where you take your medicals as long as it is done under a DMP. However, if additional testing is needed, the DMP may refer you to a physician in the same area where he or she practices. Are you 100% sure you will pass the medical examination without the need for additional testing? Are you willing to travel to Toronto again if he/she requests additional tests? Up to you...

I am not an expert and this is just my opinion.

every DMP has a pledge to conduct medical exams within a specified time

i believe you can take the exam at any DMP in the world, and have read about families who are all over the place having to do this
