Hi guys, anyone successfully did this? Can you please recommend any attorneys as my company's attorneys are not that good for EB1-C and they are open to hiring someone else.
Hi Tg123: Did you ever travel on your H1B yet qualify for EB1C? Given the consulate are closed I cannot get new B1 visa but still have valid H1B Visa. Wondering if my travel to USA for 2 days reset my 1 year clock.
Assuming you are working in Canada, how can you enter the US with H1B? H1B is if you have active employment in the US.

You cant use H1 for visiting purpose unless you are working US currently.
Some lawyers advice not to enter for a year just to have clean slate but some enter on B1 for important proposals and meetings on projects which is unavoidable for many.
It all depends on your lawyer how he/she wants to present your case hence asking here wont help in anyway.
In addition to the above, even if the lawyer accepts a certain interpretation it is hard to say whether the USCIS officer eventually reviewing your EB1C petition will accept it or not. There is no written USCIS rule on this topic AFAIK.
