I work remotely (live outside Canada) as a contractor for a canadian company for over a year , how to get benefit of this in my imagination process and application
Knowing that I work as a senior software engineer.

You can count your experience as foreign for Express Entry profile.

It may count as foreign work experience but the Canadian employer does not help as you yourself do not reside in Canada. As you are a contractor, you will have to check if your experience is even valid as 'employment', or if you are actually considered self employed for the purpose of EE,
