I wonder how immigration lawyers feel about the new rules...

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
It is basically a question of how much you (or your immigration lawyer) can fudge your job duties to match something that is on the list. If your job duties match some NOC 90% that is not on the list but they also match a NOC on the list by 80%, maybe you can make the NOC from the list fit you better with a little creativity.

its true its not in the cic website, but i am really impressed by the this site after watching the video check this out http://www.canadavisa.com/mediaroom/david-cohen-invited-to-speak-before-senate-about-proposed-amendments-to-canadian-immigration.html
i think there are chances, coz 38 categories are very few they may pick up the applications with similar job duties. hope for the best.

i want to know may i lodge application for the PNP program by Quebec at same time, i have already applied Canadian Immigration on 7 Aug 2008 ?

Guys, I recall reading somewhere (over the summer, before the new rules were posted) that of the applications that were NOT on the new list, some would be rejected outright whilst some others would be kept for future processing....has anyone heard any more about this "future processing"? Have they shelved this altogether along with our dreams? Or is there still possibility they may not return file but send letter advising application has been held for future processing? hope everyone is having a nice weekend :)

Yes, this was the "official" information before they new instructions came out. I was also shocked when I was they have changed that to a In or Out scenario.
