i was asked to submit my passport.someone please help me with the details.

hey everyone,
i submitted my application online,after 10days i recieved an email from them asking me to submit my passport at the VFS along with the letter that i recieved. i did the same ,after 2days i got a mail saying that "APPLICANT PASSPORT IS OUTSCAN FROM EMBASSY " etc.....

can anyone help me with this.what does this mean.approved or refused.
