Well my case is dumb...
I was an international student in 2011 some personal things happened, depression kicked in and I quit university. The thing is, my study permit and Visa expired in May 2013 and because I was too much of a coward. I couldn't leave until a year later. I was an illegal for a year.
Now I want to pursue my studies again, my parents told me they will be able to help me again but I don't know what to say when ircc asks if I ever stayed beyond the expiry date of a visa.
I just want to keep studying

Does the application ask if you overstayed? I cant remeber. Just apply honestly, not much else you can do.
Hi, thank you for your info, as of right now I have in my bank account half a million, so I will keep on pursuing my dream of finishing school at Canada. I want to either work or study. What kind of application do you recommend me to pursue? Study, Work or Immigration?

Sorry the late reply, its been some rough years of hardworking

Wow dude, I did not see those were old posts. Welcome back! half a million and still want to study?! Good for you. I suggest hiring a good immi consultant or a lawyer to make sure its all perfect before you apply. Also dont tell them how much you have in your account ;) You never know these suckers. Good luck!

Thanks for the welcoming! So basically thats the way to go right? in your experience where can I find good immigration consultants or immigration specialized lawyers? Also how much would they might charge? I got most of what I have from crypto and sadly my grandad died and inherited me a lot of cash. I was very close to pay EF language school in order to go study english and get a study permit and visa again until I saw your reply.

Good one with the crypto there, I am also investing, hopefully will become financial independent in some years. I used a Canadian immi consultant. Hire someone from Canada who is recognised by IRCC, they have a page for 'Hiring Representative' read that. I hired an recognized consultant, he charged me 1500 CAD for colleges and visa application.
